Well 2D cartoons are flat just like the cartoon characters you see on Nickelodeon and 3D cartoons are more popping out of the image just like those Pixar and Disney cartoons characters.
2D is flat and it's Height and Width and 3D is Height, Width and Depth the height is how tall something is and the width is how wide or how long something is and depth is how deep it is the depth makes the objects pop out more and more solid.
4D is Height ,Width, Depth and Sound because I asked my math teacher this and that is what he said I also asked him are real people 3D or 4D?" He said " 4D."
But what If I were to tell you that real people are more than 4 dimensions. Real people are Height, Width, Depth and sound. That's 4 dimensions plus Feel or touch, Taste or eat, Hear, Look and movement. That's 5 more dimensions plus 2 more is speak and smell.
So 4+5+2=11 or 4+7=11. So real people are actually 11 dimensions because there is more to a real person that is height, width, depth, and sound, They can eat and taste stuff the can hear they can see and the can touch and feel and they can smell also they can move like walk run or skip or even jog also we can climb and crawl.
That is just my opinion on how many dimensions real people are because any real person or real animal or insect are more than just 3 or 4 dimensions. So really the real world is a 11 dimensional world.
But what about fantasy? I think the Fantasy world is a 2, 3 and 4 dimension world because cartoon characters that are humans or animals can be 2D or 3D cartoon characters.
Some cartoon characters are 2D because If they have parents and family that are 2D cartoon Characters they are going to be a 2D cartoon character that's because the 2D cartoon character has a strong 2D DNA and Blood and their 3D DNA and blood is weaker. Because that's cartoon blood relative are 2D not 3D
Let's say if a cartoon character that's an animal or a human has parents or family that are 3D cartoon characters that cartoon character will have a very strong 3D DNA and Blood and a very weak 2D DNA and Blood. That is because the Cartoons family remember or blood retaliative are 3D Cartoon Characters not 2D.
But what if the cartoon characters that's an animal or a human have one parent that's a 2D cartoon character while the other is a 3D cartoon character that cartoon character will be a mixer they will be a 2D and a 3D cartoon character and in fantasy cartoons will call them a mixed dimension cartoon character
But most cartoon characters are not in the Mixed Dimension. Most cartoon characters are 2D or 3D un-leases if there is a gray area that the cartoon character is a mixed dimension character.
Because most cartoon characters that are animals or humans married another cartoon character from their own dimension, for example 2D cartoons usually marry another 2D cartoon character and 3D cartoons marry another 3D cartoon character.
Only in very rare situations a 2D cartoon Character will Marry a 3D cartoon Character. Because in fantasy there are exceptions to the rule just like how it is in real life.
And buildings and vehicles in fantasy are 2D and 3D because the 2D Building and vehicles are made of 2D objects and the 3D Buildings and Vehicles are created by 3D objects.
Also in Fantasy some of the plants like flowers or trees or any plant look 3D while others look 2D that is because the 3D plant comes from a 3D seed and it grows 3D roots and the 2D Plants comes from a 2D Seed and it grows 2D roots.
Also in fantasy if the sun light hits the plant the current way it will look more 2D but if the sun light shines on the plant from another angle it will look more 3D.
